Exhibition time for MMU foundation art and design !2010

Here is a preview of my exhibition quite pleased with the over all out comeofmy ground zero project it explores into the idea of destruction and creating something new out of destroyed things !
I hand  cut the tissue paper and hand dyed it took me ages but the outcome im pleased with. The photoshoot was soo much fun experiementing with a variety of poses and letting the outfit shine through the model Ban added to the shoot with her olive skin and natural curly hair which brought out the best of the outfit. I edited the photographs using corel draw pro , I loved the effect the photographs added to the exhibition some unedited and naturally captivating whilst others edited to create a dark mysterious destructive effect and features..........

Destruction project (continued )

Continuing to burn everything I can litterally get my hands on and photographing
Here are wire dolls I scanned after they where burnt pretty unusual effect but great foundation for design ideas , I keep looking for my inspiration both in and out of the fashion world , destruction at the moment is huge in fashion !..............im starting to think of ideas for the exhibition layout thinking something to do with flames in the background or destruction on the floor just as a background layout hmmmmm

it's creative Destruction ground zero style!

Is there ever such thing as creative destruction and does it have a place in modern society many designers have looked at destruction as a way forward some as a mere accident either way I think everyone has a destructive side or at least something they would like to destroy.

In the past destruction has become such a negative word and many associated with devistations that have shocked the world ,I want to make destruction positive a good thing for the fashion industry.

At the moment researching into destruction methods has been a challenge which i've wanted to push to the most unusual things .

Burning bra's often associated to many as a feminist act not that associated with artists or designers .

Burning Corset empowering with the powerful fames taking over the garment creating a charcoled effect that seems to mark everything ...............not good for white sheets at all

thinking of sealing it with wax ?
